Immanuel Baptist Church - Christian Education

All are welcome!

Sunday School - meets weekly on Sunday mornings after church, 11:00 AM until noon.

The high school/adult classes generally meet for 10-week modules.
Starting on February 28, 2010 are the following 2 modules:
Suffering Servant (taught by Rob Branch) and The Sign of Jonah (taught by Glenn & Dori Prescott).
The modules will meet for 5 weeks during Lent. All are invited to participate.

Middle School Youth Group (grades 6-8) meets weekly on Sundays, 4-5 pm

High School/College Group meets weekly on Thursday, 6:30-8:30 pm


Sunday School begins with group singing (all ages welcome) at 11:00 AM around the piano in the sanctuary, led by Barbara & Dori. Students of ALL AGES are welcome.

     Grades 2-5 taught by George Norris & Flora Diamond.

     Middle School (grades 6-8) taught by Dori Prescott.

     Adult Class: Suffering Servant (taught by Rob Branch).
This module will meet for 5 weeks during Lent. This class is open to all those ages high school-108.

     Adult Class: The Sign of Jonah (taught by Glenn & Dori Prescott).
This module will meet for 5 weeks during Lent. This class is open to all those ages high school-108.

     Adult Class: New Testament Bible Study - Mark. This class will meet on Tuesday evenings at 7 pm at the church and is open to all those ages high school-108.


The weekly Sunday School offering goes towards the support of six Haitian children sponsored through Partners in Development.


Library - Books are distributed throughout the Sunday School rooms. Be sure to look them over to see what you and your children would be interested in borrowing.


Our mission: The purpose of IBC’s Christian Education Program is to help persons of all ages come to know, love and serve God, consistent with our church’s Statement of Faith. Our goal is to equip the believers & encourage their faith through exploration of God’s Word as they grow in their Christian understanding, so they may live joyously in their service to the Lord.
