Greetings from Patti and Tim,

It's been a few months now since we have been in touch with all of you on our e-mail MPN (Missionary Partnership Network) list, so it is time to let you know we're still keeping busy with ministry and family and that all continues to go well.

The highlight for our summer will be the visit of the Maranatha Band from the Haitian Missionary Baptist Church of La Romana in the Dominican Republic to the San Diego area during August. We're helping to coordinate the schedule for a great group of young men -- twenty in all -- who come from a church with which we worked closely during our ten years in the DR. In fact the band was formed twenty years ago during our first few years serving in the DR. This will be their first tour of California and we look forward to seeing some great friends and enjoying Caribbean rhythm and sounds. By the way, if you'd like to learn more about Maranatha see their website: www.revelacionmaranatha.com

We're also busy preparing for the upcoming school year at the Mexicali Seminary and at the Monte Horeb Grade School in Tijuana. Tim continues to make trips each week to Mexicali to lead classes with pastors, meet with mission work groups from the States and help with Seminary needs such as updating the library or on-going construction.

And we've been able to touch base with family a little more this summer. Rebekah graduated in May with a Nurse Practitioner's degree, spent a week as part of her program in the Mexican state of Tlaxcala, and is set to begin work with a neurologist come October. In August Patti and Daniel will be visiting Anna and Tim in North Carolina. All continues to go well with their pregnancy and we are expecting our first grandchild -- a boy -- come December. Aaron keeps very busy with the casting of the new show "Don't Forget the Lyrics" and his wife, Lindsay has a rewarding job designing girl's dresses. Daniel loves summertime with his summer school geared around basketball and day trips plus getting to spend three weeks at area camps.

As always, we greatly appreciate your thoughts and prayers,

Patti and Tim
